Getting in the word of God, on a daily basis is so vital to maintaining your relationship with the most High... YHWH word is food to the soul.
Don't forget!
There are a variety of amazing aspects to being a child of God, the best thing being the free gift of eternal life, made possible ONLY through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Throughout your read in this blog, you will get 3 of my personal best parts to being a child of God, such as: purpose, joy and belonging, all of which have become evident to me, on my walk with Christ.

> A sense of purpose

The protection from falling into the pit of emptiness.
Your sense of purpose can only become evident via a personal relationship with the most High God, YHWH. If you have an empty heart trust me when I say ONLY YHWH can fill that whole you have, with the love and tenderness of Yeshua and the Holy Spirit.
One of the key ways to find your sense of purpose, is by reading the word of God. Before you know it, the word of God speaks to you and lets you know where you may be falling short or it can give confirmation or redirection in regards to life paths and decisions.
Either way you are guaranteed a sense of direction, which then creates a sense of competency, protecting you from failure because the confidence instilled in you by God, produces self sufficiency. You will find you are equipped by God to embark on whatever it is YHWH wills for you, because the most High is not going to lead you into something you cannot overcome, especially as the clarity and vision gained from gaining deeper insight into your sense of purpose, then means the skills or gifts you acquire can make you a servant for the Kingdom of the Most High.
However, if you have a feeling of emptiness or a sense of no direction, it is because you have neglected the peacemaker.
Outbursts of Joy
it's fun, it's worship, lasting forever
Sustained outbursts of JOY, through pure worship of the most High YHWH,
This to me is such confirmation that the most High is working through and with me and one of the best ways to do so is through music. Finding yourself in your own little world with the most High in spontaneous worship is one of the most fulfilling joyous activities to find yourselves doing .
Furthermore, you are never left feeling drained or tired after what may feel like a private concert with YHWH, but instead you feel empowered and energised. Something that I was able to acknowledged once I became more in touch with my inner peace from YHWH.
Loving that You belong

You belong to YHWH, The Son & The Holy Spirit
Comforted by Holy Spirit, a friend along the way
Belonging to YHWH
A sense of belonging, as a child of YHWH means you will NEVER feel neglected or turned away by God. Rejection can come from people, opportunities institutions etc, BUT being a child of God means you get to experience the unparalleled, unconditional love of God that is a safety nest, as you go through life.
Having my Saviour
A protector, best friend, and Saviour, Jesus Christ died for all sinners so that we could be redeemed through Him and cleansed. So having a sense of belonging to God means you remember to acknowledge the mercy and grace of God, demonstrated in the sacrifice of Christ. A burden was carried that none of us could ever imagine, so you feel such a sense of gratitude and humility, trying to comprehend the love YHWH has for His children.
A comfort along the way
Being a child of God, means not only do you get salvation through Yeshua, but also through baptism you get sealed with the Holy Spirit. The blessing of the Holy Spirit truly makes you know that you will be guided through life all the time, and this enables you to take heed to the fact the no matter what trails and tribulations in life you may be subject to, you are never ALONE or NEGLECTED, so long as you are a child of God.
It doesn't get better than having the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
